Meet Tyson, our talented wedding venue chef, whose passion for hospitality and culinary artistry has been deeply rooted in his Toowoomba upbringing.


As a proud local, Tyson's journey in the world of sports and camaraderie began at Downlands College. Alongside excelling in various sports like Rugby, softball, and basketball, he showcased his skills on the gridiron as part of the Toowoomba Wolves and the esteemed QLD Sundevils.


Tyson's first taste of the hospitality world came as a barista at GPO Cafe. Tyson then ventured into the Front of House team at Preston Peak Winery, where his passion for the culinary arts only flourished further.


Tyson obtained a Chef apprenticeship at the Toowoomba Golf Club, honing his skills and techniques under the guidance of seasoned professionals. However, Tyson's heart led him back to Preston Peak, where he found his true culinary home among a team of truly talented chefs.


In the kitchen at Preston Peak, Tyson's creativity knows no bounds. His dedication to crafting beautiful and delectable dishes for our cherished guests is evident in every bite. Combining his passion for food with his commitment to excellence, Tyson plays a pivotal role in creating an unforgettable dining experience that adds a touch of magic to every wedding celebration at our venue.
